  1. The treaty must be signed by the leaders of the countries.
  2. They must be between 2 countries minimum.
  3. Validated by a staff member.

A treaty can become effective for several reasons:

  • War
  • Peace (or end of war).
  • Commercial. (Only available for companies)
  • Alliance.
  • Colonization / decolonization.

Your treaty should contain :

  1. A detailed explanation of the treaty action.
  2. Conditions for closing/ending the treaty.
  3. Consequences of non-compliance with the treaty.

⚠️ The amount of compensation in case of non respect of a treaty cannot exceed 3 times the amount of the last ratings of the country (no matter how many articles of the treaty violated). Also, once the treaty is violated, it is automatically broken and cancelled if there is no counter indication noted on the treaty. ⚠️

In other cases, itemized compensation may be provided for in the treaty.

Details of different treaties:

  • Peace Treaty:

- In this treaty you can define a simple peace, with just a neutral against money/stuff. You can also define prohibitions for a certain time, like a interdiction to war with these countries again or to scam for a certain time defined by the treaty.

- The time defined by the treaty cannot exceed 4 months. It should be noted that unless otherwise specified, the cessation of war, and the relations indicated in the treaty are effective as soon as the treaty is officialized.

  • War treaty :

This treaty may contain:

- Stuff restrictions.

- Missile restrictions.

- Ally help restrictions.

- This treaty will obligatorily have an end date of war, or conditions to end the war.

In general, in this kind of treaty only things that can be verified by the staff are accepted.

  • Decolonization / Colonization Treaty:

- This treaty will have to contain only things possible by the plugin. This means the taxes through the command /f colony tax, and the colony MUST be official through the plugin through the command /f colony.

- It can be completed by obligations on the rules concerning the colonies, for example to put an obligation in enemy all the enemies of the colony.

- This treaty must obligatorily have an end of colonization date, or conditions of cancellation / end of colonization. For example, if the colonized country reaches the $ 30.000 rating, the empire commits to decolonize it without war, or to agree that the colonization will last only 5 tax payments.

  • Alliance treaty :

- This treaty can allow a large number of countries that have an alliance in the "alliance" part to officialize alliance closures like not going to war with each other or paying a weekly alliance bank.

- Non-commercial and minimum price treaties are FORBIDDEN.

- This kind of treaty is under test, it will be removed if it blocks too much the game mechanics.

  • Commercial treaty :

- This treaty can allow countries to secure a trade between countries.

- Treaties containing AntiMatter/RedMatter or items that are too expensive will not be accepted.

Information to be familiar with before making a treaty:

- It is forbidden to scam with a treaty.

- It is forbidden to hide items in a treaty.

- It is forbidden to modify a treaty after the officialization by a staff member. - Each modification before the officialization gives place to a re-signing of the treaty by the countries concerned by this one.

- In case of sale of one of the signatory countries, it is up to the initial leader to warn the new leader (once the sale is done) of the presence of a treaty to honor, by tagging it on the forum or in MP in game. It is imperative to show directly on the treaty, the good faith of the former Leader, and thus to post a proof of the transfer of information. If the former leader does not prove his good faith during a country sale, in case of non respect of the treaty by the new leader, it will be the former leader to pay the price.

If these formats are not respected, the staff members reserve the right to refuse a treaty.

⚠️ Since now, you can't add a rule to forbid the betrayal in your treaties. ⚠️

Cordially, The Ruby Staff
